Saan Studio created the visual identity for Hanabumi, a Japanese learning center based in Bangkok, Thailand. The goal was to develop a brand identity that reflects the center’s credibility and ambition, while remaining approachable and accessible to learners. We were brought in to shape a brand that could stand confidently within a competitive landscape, balancing professionalism with a welcoming, human touch.

Brand Identity
We created a brand identity that feels both friendly and structured, using a soft pastel color palette to make the brand approachable and inviting while maintaining clarity and professionalism across touchpoints. At its core, the identity balances calm confidence with a sense of playfulness, reflecting both the learning journey and the supportive environment Hanabumi offers its students.
Name Development
We also oversaw the name development for the brand, creating Hanabumi by combining “Hana,” meaning flower in Japanese, with “Bumi,” a nod to the founder and teacher’s name.
